A former Vice President at the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), Patricia Jones has a broad background in and a lifelong passion for animal welfare that is reflected in the clients she partners with. She is founder and President of www.PawsPR.com, a consultancy for animal welfare organizations and pet product companies.

Since 2007, P Jones Communications has worked with Alley Cat Allies a national nonprofit that advocates for and protects stray and feral cats providing media relations and advertising consulting. Patricia also handles the social media accounts (Facebook and Twitter) for the organization's President and co-founder, Becky Robinson.
Providing media relations and strategic counsel to award winning actress Elaine Hendrix and The Pet Matchmaker multi-media project.
In the wake of the Hurricane Katrina tragedy in 2005, PJC partnered with Noah’s Wish publicizing the group’s efforts to rescue pets and other animals affected by the disaster and raised more than $8 million in a national appeal that appeared on all major TV networks and in publications worldwide.
In 2005, PJC launched Behave Yourself!, a New York City-based animal behavior business, securing trade publication coverage for the company’s DVD on pet training and consumer media coverage, including the New York Post for Behave Yourself!, co-founder and dog trainer, Victoria Wells.
